The Double Leaning Jowler Club
On the right is a photograph of the person Perry was playing, and therefore Perry's only witness. The child's face has been blurred to protect his privacy. ...and shame. Below is a close up of the pigs.
Date and Time: 1999
Location: Phoenix AZ
Witnessed by: Autograph Mike
Photographs taken by: Autograph Mike
Controversy: None. Autograph Mike witnessed the roll and validated Williams.
Date and Time: January 10, 2004
Location: Los Angeles CA
Witnessed by: Some little Mexican kid.
Photographs taken by: The kids father.
Controversy: Massive controversy. While Perry claims to have rolled the pigs in front of the little kid, there were no official members present and no one was able to interview the child.
Date and Time: 2003
Location: Los Angeles CA
Witnessed by: Gary Williams and Elvis Greene.
Photographs taken by: Elvis Greene took video of the moment (one day to be made into a photograph for this site)
Controversy: None. Two players witnessed the roll. It was clean and perfect, just like a commercial. "The best roll I've ever seen." --Elvis Greene.
Date and Time: February 25, 2006
Location: West Hollywood CA
Witnessed by: Cary Miller and Matt Breen
Photographs taken by: himself?
Controversy: None. While warming up for the 2006 West Coast Masters event Johnny managed to roll a "Double-J" with new pigs! A very difficult thing to do. Johnny went on to the final round but lost to Perry Day in a nail-biting Game 7.
JOE COIA
JOHNNY DERANGO
Date and Time: February 22, 2008
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Witnessed by: Josh Meyer, his father
Photographs taken by: None taken
Controversy: Little Controversy. After all the tournaments held by the NPPL, after all the tens of thousands of rolls by the Masters and at Pig Madness events!! This was the third double jowler in 3 days, TWO ON THE SAME DAY!, and only the 10th Double Jowler rolled at all in the NPPL. Although we don't know Adam Meyer to be a liar, the cellphone-photo he presented looked more like a leaner and a snouter. His father Josh, a Pig Madness attendee himself and the oldest pig passer of the NPPL events, insisted it was indeed a Double Leaning Jowler. However, this does not alter the fact that he didn't witness the roll itself, and also the fact that Adam was not playing anyone when he apparently made this roll - he was playing by himself. There's no doubt Adam can pass some mean pigs, especially after winning the $1,000 piggybank at Pig Madness III, but there's arguably very valid points that this roll should not be recognized as a positive accomplishment by the NPPL.
Date and Time: February 22nd 2008
Location: Venice Beach, CA
Witnessed by: Mark Rago and Perry Day
Photographs taken by: Mark Rago
Controversy: None. Rolled the day before the Masters at Mark Rago's apartment, Johnny could've used this roll the following day. However, this roll was a beautiful thing. Just take a look for yourself. "F***ing amazing Sh*t" claimed Rago.
Up to this point, Perry was the only player in NPPL history to throw 2 double jowlers, giving himself the mantra "TWO TIMES! TWO TIMES!", but this 2004 roll is very much in dispute to this day.
Date and Time: November, 1999
Location: Glendale CA
Witnessed by: Gary Williams and Joe Coia.
Photographs taken by: None
Controversy: None. While playing a regular season game in 1999 with Joe Coia and Gary Williams in Joe's apartment in Glendale, Perry threw the leaning double jowler. Both Gary and Joe were witnesses to the roll although no photographs were taken.
Date and Time: February 20th, 2008
Location: City of Industry, CA
Witnessed by: "Autograph" Mike Aring
Photographs taken by: Mike Aring
Controversy: None. While Perry and Mike were bored to tears selling their shit at Frank & Sons Collectors Market, Perry just happened to throw one of the biggest rolls of his career. Awesome!
Perry not only threw a double leaning jowler once or twice, but three times...allowing Perry to change his mantra from... "TWO TIMES! TWO TIMES!" to "TH-TH-THREE TIMES!!!"
Up to this point, Perry is the only player in NPPL history to throw 2 double leaning jowlers let alone three! However as stated previously, his 2004 roll is very much in dispute to this day.

Date and Time: August 3rd, 2009
Location: West Hollywood, Gary's apartment
Witnessed by: many attendees at the party
Photographs taken by: None
Controversy: None. The day after PIG MADNESS V, Gary Williams had a next-day afterparty at his apartment in West Hollywood to which Matt Jansenn rolled the elusive combo. A shame he didn't make the roll a day earlier in the huge tournament, but kudos anyway as some still dream to one day add there name to this page!
Date and Time: August 7th, 2009
Location: South Jersey
Witnessed by: Adam Meyer
Photographs taken by: Adam Meyer
Controversy: None. Only days after missing the PIG MADNESS tournament in California, NPPL fan Dan Haney rolled the Double Leaning Jowler while playing Adam Meyer at their office. Dan was unhappy about missing the 2009 Madness, but plans to attend PIG MADNESS VI in 2010 and hopefully show off his skills and roll the combo at least one more time...
Date and Time: October 7, 2009
Location: Venice Beach CA, Ashley's apartment
Witnessed by: Maria Skelly
Photographs taken by: Maria Skelly
Controversy: None While practicing for the first annual "Invitational" tournament three nights before, Ashley made this incredible roll right before the eyes of his girlfriend Maria Skelly. Said Maria, "It was like seeing the Northern Lights or watching a ship sink - something I never thought my eyes would see!"

Date and Time: July 31st, 2008
Location: Torrance, CA
Witnessed by: Scott Balleras
Photographs taken by: Scott Balleras
Controversy: None. Said Scott, "She had never played Pass the Pigs before in her life. We had just begun playing; I literally just got done explaining the rules and how the points were accumulated, when on her third roll she rolls out the Double Leaning Jowler. At the time she didn’t even know the significance of it. I was jumping up and down laughing all by myself as she looked at me like I was crazy. I had to try to explain to her how rare and elusive the Double Leaning Jowler roll is. Damn beginners luck…"
