ERIC FIELAND WINS THE 2008 PIGANAPOLIS 500!!!
June 18th, 2008

It's been said "Friday the 13th" is a day of bad luck - last Friday night one man defied that theory... That man - Eric Fieland.  After making the semi-finals at Pig Madness III, Eric and his mean pigs showed up yet again, this time at the 2008 Piganapolis 500... and he took home the trophy of a lifetime:  A wooden pig pencil-holder from El Salvador!  We know you'll treasure that for life Eric!

A milestone in the history of the NPPL, this was the first tournament ever held in a public setting.  Thanks to Brennan's Pub in Marina del Rey, usually the home for Thursday night turtle-racing, they provided a setting suitable to Pig Madness:  beer drinkers everywhere, great music, pretty girls, and random onlookers curious what the Pigs was all about.

This Piganapolis 500 was unlike any others though, as 'pig-outs' were rolled like never before.  Possible reason being we were playing on Friday the 13th...??  One can never fully understand how the pigs will turn...  To read more about Eric's awesome victory check out the Piganapolis 500 page
